Season 08/09 - Round 6 & Round 7 ...
"Like the Maroon's Season, this picture will be up soon ;)" This Weeks Games With Maroon out with a bye game, Gold's game has been reschedualed to a 12:00pm START against Kelmscot at home. Players need to be there by 10:30am to set up and warm up. I ask anyone interested or even bored on Sunday, to come on down and cheer on the Gold boys!
Round 6
Gold has a game against Waneroo at their home, so unfortunatly I was unable to see it. I did hear that Keiran Regan had a stunner and belted their A-Grade pictures around the park! Well done you little 14... erm 16 Year Old! Gold held on with a 1 run lead through the 2 last digs with neither team registering a run! Final Score 7-6. (6-0)
Maroon played Vic Park and coming off last weeks win against Willetton were looking to get their season back on track. Zoe had a great day on the mound with an always strong Yasu as backup and Brad (Go-Daddy-Go) being a nutter in centre field with a busted ankle, Vic Park were still too strong with a dominant batting and strong fielding display coming out winners 2-14. (1-5) Whilst Maroon have not had a stellar season so far, the coach and president Zoe does wish to express his huge pride in the boys whom week after week tough it out against strong opposition and never give up. Sun 16th Nov: Round 7 Murdoch Gold v Kelmscot at Home from 12:00pm. A real challenge this week with a stronger side coming to the Maverick's ground. Murdoch Maroon has a bye so expect them at the ground (sober) to support Gold! Wed 19th Nov: Practise at grounds, 5:30pm The Season may have started but its not too late!
